Josiah is way into his "boy accessories" (hats, ties, socks, etc) these days. Actually, the boy is into clothes and dress-up in general. He is a three year old boy who has fiercely strong opinions about what he wears every day! A few weeks ago, he went outside to play in a Bob the Builder vest, cowboy boots, cowboy hat, and super-hero cape. Another day, he told me he wanted to wear his Lightning McQueen shirt and Lightning McQueen undies with his
black shoes and
black pants because, "Lightning McQueen has
black tires!" I regularly have to say no to weird outfits when we leave the house!
^ This is my construction worker in time-out. ^
He cracks me up when he is in this role because he speaks in a low voice. Imagine a three-year-old's "deep" voice having a conversation with you like this: "Hi Mom. What are you doin' today? ... Well, I have to get my toolbox because I have big things to fix around here. See ya later." This has been known to go on for hours. And it's so funny because he often forgets his low voice and will actually start the sentence over in the correct tone.
And then there's his sweet brother! (Notice Josiah riding away on his "tractor.")
