When I Grow Up

Someone is giving more thought to his grown-up years.  No surprise that he has strong opinions.  And it involves wheels.

It started out with a conversation like this:
Josiah:  Mom, I want a tractor trailer--a really big one.
Me:  Do you mean a real one or a toy?
Josiah:  No, a real one.  I want to drive it.
Me:  Josiah that's too expensive and besides, you can't drive yet.
Josiah: Well, I want to drive a tractor trailer when I grow up.  Can you get me one when I grow up?
Me:  So you want to be a truck driver?
Josiah:  Yeah!  I want to be a truck driver when I get big!

So it's official, my son wants to be trucker driver when he grows up.

The next day he informed me that he wanted to be four things.
"I want to drive a tractor, a bus, a race car, and tractor trailer when I grow up.  Oh and a fire engine.  Oh and I hope I get to be a construction worker some day when I grow up!"

We are making progress over here since his ponderings are usually in the absurd and confused category.  For example, he regularly tells me he wants to be a mom or a girl when he grows up!  (Yes, he also wants to be a daddy when he grows up, but he sure doesn't get it yet!)
