Bang Bang

These pictures are from the month of January, back safe and sound from our journey to the Midwest.  However, everyone (except me) managed to get sick on the way back.  The kids came down with a bad cold and Jake caught the dreaded stomach flu.  My immune system soon bit the dust too as I had a heavy dose of the flu a few weeks later.

Anyway, here are pictures of Josiah.  He's holding his "gun" like Gramper Lee.  

 
Josiah followed this up with a "Bang bang!  Does Gramper say that?"  
"Yes, he does," I replied.

Josiah loves to imitate.  One day I caught him holding a pencil in his mouth horizontally.  I asked him where he learned that.  "Gramper does that," he replied.  If you know my dad, he was spot-on with that impersonation!

Josiah also  loves to talk about Gramper's tractors.  When he plays with this toy in particular, he refers to the farmer as "Gramper."
