An Early Christmas

Here we are in the middle of December 2012 celebrating with Jake's family.  We had to celebrate quite early this year because our trip to Indiana lasted longer (we drove this time).  Josiah and Eli got some really cute gifts that were sewn by their Visavo (great-grandmother).

Here is Josiah sporting his cape.  It is reversible.  One side has a "J", and the other side has a lightening bolt on it.  She even made wrist-bands that also have lightening bolts on them.  Fun!

She also made dinosaur hats and tails for both of the boys.  Not sure that Eli cares about his set, but it sure is cute!    Josiah has determined that his is actually an alligator costume (he's not that into dinosaurs right now).

Here they are with their Vavo and Vavo (I'm too lazy to figure out how to add the proper accent--Jake, where are you?)

And Viso-Vo and Viso-Vo (once again, accents).  Eli was done for the night.

Time to cuddle with his Auntie Sarah.

Jake and me posing for a rare picture!

See that cash register in the picture below?  This was on Josiah's list because he plays "credit or debit," and it came with a real live, pretend credit card!  Of course, the credit card got stuck inside the cash register, and Jake's brother, Ethan, spent most of the night trying to get it out.  And of course, we had to exchange the entire set for a new one because the calculator didn't work!  We had a nice night, and I must say it was nice to celebrate so early because we weren't exhausted because of all the other festivities!
