Here's how it went.
The shower was to be held at the Moesner's house, so we had a little dilemma as to how to casually get my sister out of her own house! Here's how that went... The day of the shower was to be "date night" for the Lee kids (as in me and my siblings and all of their spouses). Seeing as Rebekah and Kevin would be babysitting the little ones during date night, we did our best to convince them to leave the morning of the brunch.
Well, I guess we had been doing a bit too much questioning and prodding about that morning because Rebekah definitely new something was up. Before she left, she was cleaning the house and making sure her two boys were appropriately dressed. :) Oh well. We tried!
We had somewhat of a surprise for Rebekah when they returned. The we enjoyed a yummy brunch complete with salad, quiches, breakfast casseroles, vegetable and fruit trays, cucumber-dill sandwiches, and chicken-salad sandwiches.
There was cake to be eaten.
... gifts to be opened.
And plenty more fun.
After all that, I can't wait to hear the good news about my new niece!
