In the months of August and September, Josiah was ALL about Curious George stories. He wanted to read/listen to them all the time. That's when I realized I had a Curious George stuffed animal in our attic. I got it down for Josiah, and he got real attached. He even started walking around with it calling it his baby. He would cuddle with George, rock him, and even whisper to George during naps.
Well, Eli sure thought this was cool because he started referring to George as "Baby" too! In the days to come, they had lots of fights over who got to carry Baby. Charles got replaced at night time for Baby! Josiah has even awoken me a few times in the middle of the night because he couldn't find Baby! Minus, the fighting, it has been pretty cute to watch my truck-loving boys nurture little George. :)
Unfortunately, the whole "baby" hype has confused our little Eli. We know George is a monkey--not a real baby. Eli, on the other hand, has started calling all animals baby!
