March 2nd of this year marked the momentous occasion of thirty-minus-two years for me!
One extra fun thing about the weekend was that I got to see a dear old friend and sister in Christ, Monica. We hadn't seen one another since our college days, but we had no trouble picking up right where we had left off. She has been in Boston for the past two years attending grad-school, but we never got together until now (just a few months before she graduates!). She would be embarrassed if I told you where she attends school, so I'll just tell you that it starts with "Har" and ends with "vard."
Once Monica left, we got down to business. Jake headed out to pick up an ice-cream cake while the kids and I "unloaded" dishwasher. Eli does his job by licking all of the clean utensils...
And Josiah helps by putting away the rest of the utensils that Eli hasn't licked!
