Perfectionist

Looks like Josiah may have inherited a few perfectionist tendencies from his parents!  This is how I caught him "playing" with his trains.

Trains aren't the only thing he painstakingly organizes. Just yesterday, I caught him doing the exact same thing with his race cars. He likes to put his shoes away, so they are side-by-side, facing the same direction. Toys often go in baskets in a nice, neat row.

On another note, our not quite two-year-old knows the saying, "a place for everything, and everything in its place."  He keeps me on my toes with cleaning.  He finds trash around the house and throws it away (and by now he pretty much knows the appropriate things throw away).  He often puts his dirty clothes away, and I'll even catch him putting ours away.

This kid is too much!
