Here he is at one week and one day.
Andrew rarely cried. When he did, it was so soft I was a little concerned something might be wrong. In fact, he didn't learn to cry hard until about 4 weeks! I'm guessing a lot of this was because he was born so early. He basically slept his first 3 to 4 weeks, which makes sense.
He was also seriously hairy (see pictures at the bottom of this hospital post to see his hair a little better). His back, shoulders, and face (even eyebrows) were covered with blond fuzzy hair. The tops of his ears, though, had ridiculously long blond hair! Even with Eli born 2 weeks early, he didn't sport quite so much baby lanugo. Jake and I were talking and thought that lanugo may be the culprit for Esau being born with red hair all over.
We like this guy a lot.
