Prep for a New Bike

Just after he turned four, Josiah was on his way to riding a bike, starting to pedal on his own a bit. Then busyness came: grad school, baby, LOTS of snow.  And he outgrew his bike!  Turned-out knees don't make for a very good experience, so Jake took off the pedals of his little bike for a make-shift balance bike.  He was well on his way to gliding around our neighborhood and very ready to ride a bigger bike.  (You'll see pictures of his birthday present soon.)
