One blustery day, we had a birthday party. See those pom-poms below? Well, my mom worked very hard to create all five of them. I thought it would be nice to decorate a little early and hang the poms. Well, the wind blew three away. One was only slightly damaged, so we put it back up; another was so terribly mangled that it wasn't worthy to be re-hung; and the third is probably still blowing around the streets of New Bedford!
Enough with the pom-pom saga. Here we are as a family at Josiah's somewhat-sailboat themed party. It's hard to believe that Eli has already grown so much since this picture was taken two weeks ago! Look at Eli's skinny ankles two-week old ankles!
I had fun making these lemon sailboats.
Here's Grammer hanging out with her two Santos grandkids.
And Grammer with Eli...
And here are Vovo and Vovo with Eli.
It got a bit chilly, so we headed inside for cake. (Thank you Pinterest and blogs for simple decoration ideas!)
Finally, a bit from the opening of presents.
Too all those who went to Boonville High School: I can't believe I chose Castle colors! I never would have 10 years ago! :)
