Sweet Stories

When we are out in public, Josiah is usually very well-behaved.  However, he likes to point out all the other fussy kids, by saying, "Wah!  Wah!  Whine."

My boy, who normally wakes up CRANKY, has decided to wake up with a pleasant demeanor!  In the mornings I hear one of two calmly uttered wake-up calls:  "Mama, Mama.  Help."  or "Mama, Mama.  Stuck."  (The first being he just wants out of bed; the second, he is in a booby-trap of covers and can't get out.)

After he gets dressed.  Josiah stands in front of me and declares himself, "hand-shome" (learned from his mom, of course).

Here are a few of Josiah's latest songs that he sings:
Have Patience, a song from a tape I had as a kid:  "Have pay-senth. Have pay-senth.  Hurwy.  Member. Member."
The Three Little Kittens:  "Meow. Meow.....  Pie."
The Wheels on the Bus:  "Wound an Wound.  Wound an Wound.  Wah!" (for the wheels and the baby)

At meal-time and bed-time, Siah always wants to pray for two things, "coffee" and "boys."  He has been sick two times with a bad "coffee," and this obviously concerns him enough to pray about! :)  And the boys?  Ha!  We're not sure here, but we think he's referring to the boys (and girls) that used to play soccer across from our house...SEVERAL months ago.
