Thanksgiving Time

Though, I'm not hosting Thanksgiving dinner, I will be cooking a little bit for the meal at Jake's parents.  I'm stealing a few of my favorite recipes from home to introduce to the East-Coasters--sweet potato casserole and cranberry relish--yumm!  I made them last year and already got Jake hooked (right honey?).

What are you making?  Do you have any favorite Thanksgiving recipes/ food traditions to share with me?  I just love tasty new recipes.  Here are similar recipes for cranberry relish (except I add a can of crushed pineapple) and sweet potato casserole.

On another note, I was a little jealous of Jake's adventure today.  He had a field trip to Plymouth Plantation!  Sounds like his wild students only had two major moments of misbehavior.  One student broke a period, sports goal (it was made of tree limbs) with his head (no need for Jake to step in because I'd say that was punishment enough).  Two more students decided to break out in a wrestling match.  The punishment for wrestling?  One of the boys rolled in dog doo-doo.  (Stinks to be that kid!)
