First Meltdown

Mark it down everyone.  Josiah had his first meltdown tonight.

He had a screaming fit for a half hour or more.  I think I've been on the go a little bit too much this week!  Today we went for our weekly walk at the park with my friend, Jenn, and then we went to visit Josiah's Bisa-vo(r) and Bisa-vo(o)--that's Portuguese for great grandma and grandpa. [Jake, please correct me on my spelling!]  Too many half-naps this week sent him over the edge when we got home.  Needless to say, I stayed home from church tonight...

Josiah is too funny.  Even after a dramatic crying spell, he thought I was hilarious and gave me the biggest belly laughs.  :)  He really is a sweet baby.

After my walk with Jenn, she and I finished up things for a diaper shower we are throwing.  We made a diaper bouquet to present to the mother.  I know this is awfully cheesy.  But I love it!  Here is the completed masterpiece...
Wouldn't you be thrilled to receive one of these?!
Diapers and socks are rolled up and attached to a dowel rod.
Then they are secured with a rubber band.
Jake's Vovo(o), or grandfather, is turning 80, and his kids are throwing a surprise party for him.  [Shh! Don't tell--it's still this Saturday!]  I was instructed to get a picture today for the slide show.  Thankfully, the first picture turned out fine.  HOWEVER, my lemon-of-a-camera decided to do it's thing and malfunction for the rest of the pictures!  We're sending it back to Nikon for the THIRD time.  Maybe I'll finally get a new camera this time around!

You get the idea...
