Josiah Pre-5 and Eli Pre-3

Eli enjoyed an early birthday present of "Dots."  Here are some cute saying/memories I jotted down from their pre-three and pre-five stages.

Here are a few cute mis-sayings from Eli:
""That's my "fwavowite!"
"Are we going to have macaroni pizza?" (He regularly confuses macaroni with pepperoni.)
"Let's listen to some blueberry-grass!" (bluegrass music)

Eli picks the obscurest animals when pretending.  It really makes us laugh.  Once post-bath, he came out of the bathroom wrapped in his towel.  Then in a high-pitched voice, he squeeled, "I'm a baby snail!"  He has also been a jellyfish stinging people, a skunk, a lobster eating macaroni (which probably was pepperoni), etc.

A conversation with Eli:
Eli:  "Where's the Thanksgiving book?"
Me:  "I think I got rid of it."
Eli: (in rough, loud voice) "Don't get rid of me because I WANT TO BE WITH YOU FOREVER!  OKAY?!"
He's cute.  He tells me that a lot, like this other time: "I'm going to be with you forever and ever and ever.  Except when you go to the grocery store."

Eli has been ONLY laughing like Bert from Sesame Street as of late.  The kid has a sense of humor.

Add this to the list of things I never would have said as a child:
Josiah:  "Google, can you remind me to pick up Deedo today?"  (Deedo is a made up name.)

Here is a story Josiah told Eli back in March.  "There once was an olive. It was old. It was cold. Then he heard a bump. The bump made him jump."

When Josiah and Eli like my food they chime in:
Josiah:  "You make good food, mommy!"
Eli:  "Yeah!  You're a good cooker!"
This happens quite regularly and is quite sweet!
