Here is little Eli in May at almost 2. At this age, Eli could be summed up as happy, physical, determined, wild, goofy, and messy (see below).
He's a big help to daddy!

Eli has an extraordinary ability to get messy, Actually, the picture above was not his fault for once. I was making dinner, and he came to the kitchen window looking like this! He had a brother who threw dirt on him! Later in the year when he was potty training, I had to stop giving him treats because he would make such a mess of it. He would get one M&M for going potty, but it would end up all over the house. I would even make him eat it in the kitchen, but he would still manage to drool candy all over. I got wise though. Now Eli does a mouth check to make sure messy treat/snacks/drinks are all gone! Josiah did a pretty good job passing down his clothes mostly stain free, but I'm pretty sure brother #3 will need all new 2T shirts! Remember this?
