Anyway, here are the LAST (*I hope) of our snow pictures until next winter!
Josiah and I made some snowflakes to grace our kitchen window. Oddly enough, they were some of favorite decorations all winter. I took them down last month, but the snow kept coming.
One way I got through this long winter with my sanity was by doing preschool with Josiah in the afternoons. This boys needs something to exercise his brain! Here he is with his name that he wrote all by himself!
This was our last big snow in mid-February, and it was safe to say we got dumped on. We had a lot of fun with this snow though.
Jake made a cave/fort for the boys. Josiah was a bear or a tiger most of the time he was outside.
The snow was so deep we had to dig paths through the yard so the boys could actually walk.
Then I got involved and gave the "mom's touch".
I made them a flag for their cave, and I let Josiah spray the snow with colored water and dig with a trowel.
The next day I built a hill off of our stone wall for the boys to sled. Jake put his "dad touch" on it and made a banked turn so the boys wouldn't run into our trees!
Goodbye snow!
Goodbye snow!
