Apple Pickin'

Last weekend we enjoyed a trip to a local orchard for apple picking and a hayride. Josiah was content to walk around munching on a gigantic apple.  In fact, he had such a good time that he sang his "happy, happy, happy, happy..." song on the way home.  (He often does this now when he is sporting that sort of mood.)  His shirt was drenched in apple drool--yuck.

Josiah was quite frightened when the little ladybug came near his face!

Here we are on a hayride to the pumpkin patch.  Love his crooked sunglasses.
Too bad he snapped them into pieces yesterday!

Sampling a pumpkin, of course.

Little R, a buddy from church.

This particular apple was one of several apples that were dropped and coated in a layer of dirt.
Once he found his special apple, he chomped on it for at least an hour.
