Ode to Judah

This post goes out to Judah, Josiah's first buddy.  His parents, Timm and Jenn, go to church with us.  Judah and Josiah have basically known one another since their time in the womb as their mother's were pregnant together. 

On Father's Day of this year, our new family of three spent a little time at the local park.  Our little Josiah was only about 4 days old.  While we were there, Jake got a call from Timm.  I didn't think too much about it until Jake started saying, "No way .... no ... you've got to be kidding me ... seriously?!"  Sure enough, Judah had been born earlier that morning (his due date wasn't for a few more weeks). 

Since then, Judah and Josiah have weekly playdates.  They hang out regularly because their mom's walk together in hopes of shedding the post-pregnancy poundage.  After the walk, the boys get to have some fun with one another.

Sometimes their playdates go a little bit like this:
[Judah and Josiah lie next to one another.]
Josiah:  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
[Judah stares at Josiah.]
Josiah: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!  Ah!!
Judah:  Mhm.
[Judah and Josiah hold hands.]
Jenn and Rachel:  Aww!
